Abraham Howard is a filmmaker from the rural town of Finksburg, Maryland. He gained an early start studying film at a local trade school where he won first place in the statewide SkillsUSA film competition and was picked up to direct a short documentary for the Smithsonian.
He holds his BFA in Film from Pratt Institute, joined by minors in both Photography and Art History.

His personal work unravels the human experience, Trojan-horsing it within irreverent and enjoyable viewing experiences. A review from Short Films Matter echoes this, describing his film 'Take Me With You' as both "absurd and touching."
